Rising Architect Joins Global Firm Aedas
Aedas, one of the largest and most decorated architecture practices in the world, will welcome Sima to its graduate programme on August 11, 2026. The appointment follows a thesis showcase in which she took home the Professor's Award, the Aedas Award, and the Passion Award - a hat-trick that industry insiders describe as "a lot."
Years of long nights, coffee-fueled model-making, and quietly outworking everyone in the room have culminated in a career start most graduates only sketch in the margins. Aedas, for its part, is considered fortunate.

Happy 23rd Birthday!
So this is the second birthday we celebrate together. Second of a hundred and forty more (we will live that long).
I adore you. I'm so happy we celebrated our engagement party, I wrote this before it happened but by the time you're reading it, it happened yesterday. I'm sure it was the most fun thing ever.
You are my soul, my heart, and my everything. I'm sure you'll like your gift, if you haven't already gotten it, and you like the plan I have for you.
Today is your day, just like yesterday, but also just like tomorrow because every day is your day, it doesn't have to be an occasion. I'm so happy to be here in Amman with you, to be here with you, to marry you next year, to have you with me all the time, and to grow with you.
You are my girl, my silly one, my fun one, my funny one, my sweet one, my forever. I love singing with you, chika-fying everything with you, I love everything about everything we do. I love when we both are in a random mood and we start saying just about anything. I love your random little urges to do something with your hands and it always ends up being an art masterpiece.
I love you for you, everything about you. You're 23! You completed 23 years of age! When you live 23 more years that's 46. I'll still be there, but with a few kids, a nice house, and you'd be a millionaire from your architecture firm.
